We bought this unit to help cool a back bedroom that has a vaulted ceiling and a couple of exterior walls that get a lot of sun in the afternoon. Because the thermostat is located in the front of the house it doesnt register the realities of the back and so the built in A/C stays off even when its sweltering back here. After setting up the unit which did take some work since you need to hook up the exhaust to a window we turned it on and immediately got some relief while sitting close to the unit which was located next to my desk -- remote work. The Auto Swing feature was appreciated from the get go helping to move the cool air on and off my back and up into the room. For my use case its been great. That said the room is a little over 300 sq. ft. and it takes a little time to feel the effects throughout the entire space -- but it does happen eventually Im very much looking forward to a summer that does not force me out of my bedroom.

Overall it is good. It works better for a single room. I only use it for a.c purposes. I use it in my bigger living room and it does ok but works great in one small room. Good quality but it does tend to do funny things like shut off by itself or the blades close By themselves.

I bought this LP0721WSR to replace our previous LG which had failed in under 3 years. We only ran it at night and it was cooling nicely in our 200 square foot bedroom. High fan was very loud and when the compressor cycled off it decreased to a very low fan speed. On low fan setting it worked well for a few days then began shutting off and coming back on in a few minutes and continued on and off through the night until we turned it off so we could sleep.

I have an enclosed shop area in the back of my garage and it gets really hot in there during the summer. Ive thought about getting a portable air conditioner for a while but didnt really know what to expect. The first thing I noticed about it is that its more sleek and stylish than any Ive ever seen before and it actually looks nice in the room instead of being an eyesore. I keep it on low mode most of the time and its very quiet. It cools the whole room easily and I like that it also has a fan and dehumidifies. It even has an LED display and comes with a remote. Also it was easy to install which was a huge plus.

The LG portable air conditioner was easy to install. The directions were clear and easy to understand. The instructions for use were easy to understand and we had the unit up and running in a short amount of time. The remote works well and the unit keeps the room at the designated temperature. The unit is on wheels and is easy to move to another location. The unit is a tad loud not terrible but does take some getting used to.

This has been such an amazing addition to our home. We have central air but at night our room seems to get extremely hot the only way to fix it is to crank up our air in the whole house which isnt ideal. Weve been using this portable ac for a couple of weeks and its worked so nice settings are easy to use and the remote makes it easy to swap from air to just fan in the middle of the night if it starts to get too chilly. I like that the display on the actual ac unit can be turned off when in use this makes it nice at night so you dont have a bright green glow. My fianc was able to quickly install this into the window by himself it comes with more than enough extra to make this fit into a variety of window sizes and shapes which is a bonus We plan to possible use this in our sunroom as well which has tall windows that open left to right and since it came with extra pieces to close off the window we wont have any issue transitioning it there later.

The hose shown on the box has a diameter of 4 inches however the real diameter is closer to 6 inches. Even with a 6 inch diameter the hose is one way air flow it isnt split inside which means it constantly pulls new hot air into the room whereas a window unit has two separate air loops to avoid this problem and it is a noticeable problem it does require a drain pan and hose which arent provided. Overall a solid model that has done its job so far. Except for the screwdriver youll need to put the window sections together for the outlet to hook into everything youll need is provided. There are only two settings on the fan which looks a little lacking. The device is too close to my desk on high to hold a phone call but it is not loud at all on low. Id be able to sleep soundly if I had this in my bedroom.

The LG portable air conditioner is awesome It quickly cools the air in my living room and it is quiet and efficient. I like that the vents move open and close to circulate the air. This was so easy to install it took me a few minutes to do. It has other functions that work well too such as a fan and a dry feature that help with the humidity in the air. I have used this every day and I am so happy with it

I needed a solution for keeping cool in my 220 sqft. office barn/shed since working remotely during the hot Texas months. Keep in mind that although this unit is portable it still needs access to a window for the hose. That being said its working great and has no issues keeping my workspace at a comfortable 70-74 F possibly lower but was not necessary with minimal noise. The remote allows me to change the settings from my desk without having to get up. Also great to have as a backup for the house if our A/C ever fails.

Had a bit of trouble attaching the hose but now that its secured I doubt its ever going anywhere. Cooling performance is great it easily cools the bedroom and does so within minutes. Most important to me its much quieter than I was expecting.

We bought this for our 80+-year-old parents and they love it. The cord could be just a little bit longer but the installation took us about 20 minutes. They had all sorts of foam that you could use for the venting around the window which was really nice. We dont have it hooked up for dehumidifier is for cooling only so we didnt worry about drainage. It is very easy to use.

When I first bought it. It worked well and was great. I have a couple of LG portable ac units in different btu sizes. This 7k btu however didnt last more than a couple of months. It stoped venting the water out of the window like it was supposed too. Instead it would spit it all over the room and would soak the floor before shutting off. I luckily was still with in 90days of purchase. So I returned it for a different one all together. I would buy it again I just think something malfunctioned with the one I had. It happens.

Got this a little over a week ago. Nice looking unit is easy to use and set. The fan is not too noisy and it blows nice cold air. Our use is in a room that probably has more cubic feet than the unit is designed for but it will keep the temperature fairly constant in our extra hot weather as of late. Four stars only because Ive only used it a few times.

We purchased this unit when we learned we needed a new AC unit for our upstairs where all of the bedrooms are and installation would not take place for at least two weeks during some of the hottest temps of the year. We probably should have purchased a larger unit but needed to keep costs down. We ran it for two weeks and it did keep our bedroom cool enough and during the day would keep the door open and used fans to blow some of the cool air to the upstairs area. Havent received the electricity bill so I am unsure if it had effect. Will keep for emergency use in the future.

Has not been really hot since it arrived. Put it in the bedroom and thought the sprinkler was not touching the house but that night found it alerted me to empty collector. it does not come with a hose. I dont know if I can find right tubing. No pan can fit under the drain hole since its at the bottom. Needs a better draining system. Would help if directions only described the model purchased instead of stating on some models I solved my problem by setting it ontop an 3/4 carpeted plywood board and now I can get a cake pan under the drain.

I purchased two 2 new LG portable air-conditioners. When one starts the compressor makes a terrible noise for about a minute then it seems fine. This happens every time I start the AC Unit. I have called LG customer support vs simply returning the unit to the box store where I purchased it. I though maybe there was something to be fixed or replaced. Customer Support has not followed through with their promised follow-up email and return notice. I can understand an issue with the product but I cannot understand why customer support will not follow through and email me as they said they would. Poor quality control and poor service.

live in Oregon during the last heat wave i was forced to get a portable AC. was easy to set up in the window. Right out the box turned it as low as it would go and the blower on high just to see how fast it cool the room. took about 5min in a 410sqf room. runs like a champ kinda loud on high but cools quick.
