Overall, the unit is quiet, cools well and operates as it should. However, the options for how to organize the shelves is limited and not very efficient. I™€™m pretty short and it™€™s still difficult for me to reach the lowest shelf to get items placed or that get pushed to the back. I don™€™t like how it™€™s organized. Also, the stainless shows very smudge, wet fingerprint and attempt at wiping them off, but I™€™m trying to ignore that problem. It cools and freezes food. Mission accomplished.

New refrigerator won™€™t cool & poor customer care

This purchase has been a bad experience thus far. The refrigerator was installed and 4 hours later it was still not cooing - at all. I called GE and was told that it can take 24 hours for it to come to temperature and they would not take any action until the following day. So I waited and called the next day. They then told me that a technician needed to be scheduled to come out before they would even consider a replacement. I spent a hour on the phone with a case manager and the best they could was to send someone out was a week later. Still waiting for service/answers on how this will be resolved. Very frustrating.

Ice Maker - the worst ever

The icemaker is slow to make cubes. Generally, puts out 30 cubes overnight. The ice tastes like chemicals and will not go away. We had this serviced - waterline flushed (no problem with the taste of the water) and had the icemaker flushed. The chemical taste will not go away. Totally useless and unhealthy. Is there a fix for this?

We really like this new refrigerator. Due to the overhead cabinets, we were unable to purchase a taller unit. This one is the same size as our previous 25 year old refrigerator. The ice maker is smaller than our previous one; however, it makes all that the two of us need. Finger prints will be my only complaint, but we will make sure to use the appropriate cleaner.

Doesn't cool as well as my old GE and is waay smaller. Don't love the new configuration of a super thin shelf on the bottom of the door for a whole row of short skinny condiments only, a large but not tall enough middle shelf that just into the one main usable shelf of the main fridge. Just weird and hard to fit much in here. My back top shelf will freeze yogurts put there while the bottom shelf will show 50 degrees when I put a thermometer in there. Not cool.

Great Capacity

We ended up buying this refrigerator because the previous brand new one, (not a GE) that we had just purchased for our garage, didn™€™t work at all! After countless attempts to have it serviced and/or replaced, we™€™d had enough of being run around in circles, and decided to go with a brand we know and love! Initially, when it arrived, we thought it was going to be too small. However, after opening the door, we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it is on the inside! The only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of more is because we are having trouble with the refrigerator staying cold enough. This may be an electrical issue on our end, as we had the same concerns with the last one we had just ordered; but that one™€™s freezer didn™€™t work at all and the fridge barely got below 50 degrees. This one™€™s freezer is working fine, but the fridge is not staying cool. In fact, we literally just had to throw out a brand new gallon of milk because after opening it up it was spoiled, chunky, and was 64 degrees when we measured it! We™€™ll be calling to have it serviced and hopefully it™€™s nothing major bc we really do like this model overall and would certainly recommend it to other people.

This refrigerator has not worked since day 1. I contacted customer support to complain about the refrigerator. I was told on October 4 that I have been approved for a brand new refrigerator. That was 2 weeks ago, and still nothing. My food is either spoiling or freezing.

This fridge came with the house we recently bought. It was working great for approx 2 weeks then the ice maker started to slow down making ice only 4-8 times the whole day rather than every 7-10 mins. I scheduled a service tomorrow so we'll see how that goes.

Love the lowest door shelf. Found out it is called a can shelf. Great use of space. The door shelves are deep- unexpected plus. Much more room than my old 14 year old fridge. Very inexpensive to operate yearly. Ice maker is very quiet. I like the smaller cubes. Good amount of space in the freezer as well.
